Provides descriptions of hundreds of jobs in the music industry.

Artslynx International Music Resources
Has a great set of links to music resources including areas such as opera and vocal, symphonic, music theater, popular music, music education and publications.

Musicians, Singers, and Related Workers Profile from the Occupational Outlook Handbook
Information from the Bureau of Labor Statistics describing the nature of the occupation, training and other qualifications, as well as advancement, outlook and earnings information. Also includes links to related occupations.

Wolf Trap Internship Program
Designed to provide meaningful hands-on training and experience in the areas of arts administration, education, and technical theater.

Sony Music USA
Offers a variety of internships in New York City each semester. Internships are available in many areas including: Accounting, MIS, Marketing, A&R, Promotions, Sales, Publicity, Business Affairs, Publishing and Sony Studios.

The jobsite dedicated to music related employment. Jobs and internships posted on this site cover a wide range of employment opportunities, from executive, media, sales and PR/promotion to studios, instruction, retail and more. You do not need to be a member to view and apply for these jobs, unless they've been posted within the last 3 days.

Los Angeles County Arts Commission Internships
The LA County Arts Commission offers summer internship opportunities in the arts world for students of any ethnic background who attend school or reside in LA County. Various performing, literary, and other arts organizations participate, and there is a $3500 stipend for the 10 week commitment.

Its graduate program, consistently rated among the top three programs in the nation, offers the M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in composition and scholarship, the latter with options in the history and literature of Western music and in ethnomusicology.

UC Los Angeles
Its graduate music program offers a Master of Music (M.M.) and a Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A.) in Performance and Conducting, and a Master of Arts (M.A.) and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Composition. With a strong focus on arts music traditions of both Europe and America and the broad international character of late 20th-century music, the program offers students practice in a wide range of contexts.

American Music Therapy Association
The mission of the association is to advance public awareness of the benefits of music therapy and increase access to quality music therapy services in a rapidly changing world.

National Association for Music Education
The mission is to advance music education by encouraging the study and making of music by all.

National Music Publishers’ Association (NMPA)
Has worked to interpret copyright law, educate the public about licensing, and safeguard the interests of its members. To insure a fair and orderly market for everyone involved in music publishing, NMPA is dedicated to the protection of music copyright across all media and across all national boundaries.

American Federation of Musicians
Everyday thousands of musicians are helped by this organization. They are the largest organization in the world representing the interests of professional musicians.
