Anthropology is generally defined as the study of humans and their behavior throughout history. Experts in this field examine artifacts and other items that show how humans once lived and acted. They look at archaeology, human remains, and the remains of their homes. They also look at the sociology, religion, and other cultural icons of humanity to uncover the way they behaved.

Graduate & Professional Schools

Career Outlook: Prospects in academia are limited. Many graduates now work at research institutes and in government. Off campus, the outlook is rosy for those with very strong research skills. There is need for people who can do research, crunch numbers, and then analyze the data.
