The publishing of this iteration of the Career Services website at the University of California, Santa Barbara marks a significant achievement in the advancement of student support services within the fields of career development and student affairs. It is with great honor and enthusiasm that we fill this space with deserved acknowledgments for the people and processes which have produced this substantive result of innovation.

This website has been constructed through extensive collaborative efforts from distinguished career development professionals, project managers, digital marketers, website developers, and graphic designers. Together, this team employed state-of-the-art technology within the higher education industry to produce the dynamic, user-friendly, and educational career platform that you see today, accessible by all UCSB students and future generations to come. It has been customized with the same quality of care that we invest into each aspect of our daily work to democratize students' access of quality career information, engage their interests in career development, empower a sense of agency to pursue and attain their career goals, and support their transition into the world of work.

Similar to many career paths, the path to creating this website was far from linear. Its development required multiple years of research, production, and phases of implementation, and its success is attributed to an exceptional act of service from its contributors. From the sponsorship and support provided by leadership, to the steadfast production work and personal sacrifices made by project managers, writers, and designers, this project is a reflection of Career Services' enduring effort to support UCSB students in their pursuit of a brighter future.

May it be accessed, consumed, and enjoyed by generations of Gauchos for years to come.
