Beginning with Report #1, each assignment must be added to a 3-ring binder you turn in to create a cumulative record of your proposal and reports.
  2. You are responsible for downloading and printing instructions for all five assignments from the above link, and bringing all of them with you to discussion each week – including Week 1.
  3. You are responsible for knowing and meeting the rubric criteria for the four major assignments. Rubrics are provided with the explanation of each assignment.
  4. Suggestion: if you prefer to have your performance evaluated solely on the basis of whether or not it is satisfactory, please consider taking this job (course) pass/no pass.
  5. All grades will be determined in conjunction between your instructor and discussion leader.
  6. Work that is handed in past the deadline:
    a. 1 to 6 days late will be penalized 5 points.
    b. Later than 6 days will be penalized an additional 5 points for each week.
  7. Proposal Revisions:
    a. If you want to revise your accepted proposal before Report #1 is due, your proposal may be resubmitted to your discussion leader with the original at least two business days before Report #1 is due. Your revised proposal will not be re-graded.
    b. If you want to revise your accepted proposal before Report #2 is due, your proposal may be resubmitted to your discussion leader with the original at least two business days before Report #2 is due. Your revised proposal will not be re-graded.
  8. Re-grading:
    a. Each discussion leader will determine policy on re-grading assignments.
    b. If your discussion leader accepts assignments for re-grading, resubmitted work will be evaluated independently from the original work (the grade may go up or down).
    c. Report #2 will be graded only once.
    d. All resubmitted work must include the original.
Attendance: Attendance is mandatory at all lectures, discussions, and retreats. You may miss one lecture or discussion without losing points if you contact your instructor (for lecture) or discussion leader (for discussion) before the beginning of that meeting. Being late twice constitutes a single unexcused absence.
